MyChingu and Chingu AI are designed for mindful lifestyle journaling, personal self-care reflection, and emotional encouragement. MyChingu is not a medical device, licensed medical provider, or crisis hotline. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MyChingu mobile applications (iOS and Android), web companion, desktop software, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Service.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use MyChingu. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Subscriptions, Pricing & Billing
MyChingu offers both free and premium paid subscription tiers:
- Free Tier: Free forever access to essential daily mood tracking, journal entries, habit reminders, and daily AI reflection turns.
- MyChingu Premium: Available for €3.99 per month or €24.00 per year (inclusive of applicable taxes).
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds: Purchases are managed through Apple or Google Play according to their respective refund policies. We offer a 14-day customer satisfaction guarantee.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All original illustrations, Mascot artwork (including all 34+ mascot variants), character personalities, Chingu AI branding, logos, sound design, and software code are the proprietary intellectual property of MyChingu (MyKoreanLife). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any portion of the Service without prior written consent.
5. User Generated Content & Privacy
You retain 100% ownership of the personal reflections, journal entries, and photo memories you create inside MyChingu. We treat your personal data with extreme care as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Engage in unlawful, harmful, threatening, or abusive behavior.
- Attempt to jailbreak, probe, or compromise the security of our infrastructure or AI companions.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
7. Changes to Terms
We may periodically update these Terms to reflect product enhancements or regulatory changes. We will notify users of material modifications via in-app notices or email.
